The Kagal Education Society is one of the leading educational organizations in the western Maharashtra. It was established in 1960 by Late Shri. Y.D. Mane (Anna), the leading statesman. Considering the need of time, the society focused its attention on technical education by establishing Y. D. Mane Institute of Technology (Polytechnic), Kagal in 2008. The institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and DTE, Mumbai. It is affiliated to MSBTE, Mumbai. The institute has stood above the rest in its approach to education and in its pedagogies. Consistently we never hesitate to look into our deficiencies and transforming ourselves as an efficient media for social and technical change. The institute has achieved many feats and climbed new heights.
The institute offers five programs under Diploma Engineering namely,
